The cute and bubbly Rikku (Kingdom Hearts II ver, not Final Fantasy X-2)!

She is by FAR one of my favorite characters in the Final Fantasy universe...everything from her personality, character design, and even her voice (Tara Strong!!!). I'm very proud in doing her character justice and can't wait to show her off at cons!!! <3

I made her torso first, then head/hair, wings, arms, and finally legs...which is a weird order for me when I make clay figs

And even tho it was tricky, she's able to stand on her own!

~FUN FACTS~
*Rikku was completed in two days and was finished on January 24, 2010 at 9:30pm
*She stands at 5.25 inches and has a wing span of 3.5 inches
*This figure made out of Sculpey 3 colored clay, Scupley Rubber clay, copper wires, white and silver acrylic paint, permanent markers, and super glue
*She does have panties...due to the length of the skirt!

Cute.
I actually didn't like when they did this to the gullwings. Did you know Rikku was originally supposed to have Yuffie's spot?

Oh Im aware of that. I think even KH will admit going a bit too heavy on the FF7 characters (sure its the most Popular series but still)...i mean did we really need Cid?

Oh yes. Cid is awesome! now is CLOUD a necessity? They had to try and make him more like Squall, and Squall more like Kain... What would have been better is if they had cut out Yuffie and Aerith and replaced them with Rosa from FFIV and Rikku. It coulda been funny:

Sora- "Riku?"
Rikku- "Huh? How do you know my name?"
Sora wakes up- "You're not Riku!"
Rikku- "Am so!"
Leon- "Oh that's enough."

There really isnt anything to do it...u just have to find the right balance. I didnt get the foot right the first few tries either but I added more clay on one side of the shoe and suddenly it balanced. U just have to be patient and push ur boundaries

again, WOW amazing with all the detailed clothes and hair!

A suggestion would be to add more texture using tools, like draw strands of hair in, or make folds in her clothing

I can see much more details here than on webcam lol.
I like this figurine better than Paine. I especially like the pose and best of all she can stand!! most of my figurines can't.
I'm looking forwards seeing Yuna finished
